Cross Country - Gastonia Eagles Meet

The Tri-City Relays Cross Country Team got off to a great start for the 2009 season with several outstanding performances. In the primary boys 2000m run, Sylvester Reed III ran his first cross country race and finished first overall with a time of 9:27. Elisabeth Marshall won the midget girls (11 - 12 yr. old) division by finishing first in the 3000m race with a nice time of 13:28. Erin Morrison finished 6th in the same division with a time of 15:12 and Camryn Thetford finished 8th in 15:25. Miles Cabean won the midget boys 3000m race and ran a 13:07 in the process while teammate Teague Thetford finished second in 15:00. Dania Hatch finished first in the intermediate girls 4000m race with a time of 22:44. The team's next competition will be the Third Annual Tri-City Relays Cross Country Festival on October 10.
